The region is a large and secure helter for several species of animals. In the valley you can get to see chamois, deers, ibex, lots of friendly marmots, alpine hares, ermines and foxes.
Among the birds, the eagles, the mountain pheasants, the partridges and the blackbirds are the most common ones. In the mountain lakes you will easely see the alpine tritons and red frogs; the main species of fishes are the Iris trout, the Fario trout, the Canadian trout, the alpine “salmerino” and the fontinalis “salmerino”.
